Bikram Yoga - is a new form of yoga comprising of a series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (pranayamas). It is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Bikram Yoga is held for a short duration, usually each session runs for approximately 90 minutes
Hatha Yoga - Ananda Yoga is a classic style of Hatha Yoga that is a gentle experience. It is not athletic or aerobic. Breathing techniques and postures work to control your body's energy and awaken the energy in your chakras. Silent affirmations are used to help you attain your state of union. Swami Krujananda developed it.
Ashtanga yoga - is commonly called "hot yoga" where the demanding postures and breathing techniques are practiced in a studio in which the temperature has been raised above normal to facilite sweating. The process cleanses the body of toxins, and helps increase blood circulation. As the practitioner advances more difficult moves are added to purify the nervous system while increasing stregth, and great flexibility.
Kali Ray TriYoga - brings poses, breathing and concentration together to create intuitive flows. You'll hold sustained poses that include spinal wave-like movements timed with breathing and mudra. You can make this type of Yoga as challenging as you desire based upon your flexibility and strength. It was developed by Kali Ray.
Reiki is a Japanese word. "Rei" means spirit, and "ki" means life force energy. Together they mean "spirit led life force energy." Reiki, pronounced "ray-key", is natural, holistic, energy therapy; spiritual healing. It is derived from an ancient healing system that was once used by Tibetan Buddhists. Basically, life force energy is transmitted through the practitioner to the client.
Reiki involves the desire to restore balance (healing) and the willingness to receive this balance. |
